How do lessons work?๏ผ
Lessons are 1:1 video calls in your browser โ nothing to install. When it's time, a join button appears in My lessons. You can take one trial lesson per teacher at their trial price.
How do I pay?๏ผ
You top up credit and spend it when you book. Top up with PayPal or a card; bigger top-ups get a bonus. Unused credit you paid for can be refunded from your wallet.
I want to cancel or move a lesson.๏ผ
Up to 24 hours before the lesson you can cancel or move it from My lessons and get full credit back. Cancelling within 24 hours refunds half, and moving it needs the teacher's OK.
What if the teacher doesn't show up?๏ผ
If the teacher hasn't joined 15 minutes in, the lesson is cancelled automatically and fully refunded. If a lesson didn't go as it should, you can report it from My lessons within 7 days.
Which time zone are the times in?๏ผ
Every time is shown in the time zone set on your account. Moved or travelling? Change it on your account page โ reminders follow it too.
How do I become a teacher?๏ผ
Any native Korean speaker can apply. Upload a profile and a short intro video; once reviewed, you're approved. The fee gets lower the more you teach.
